Students Click here to register: https://forms.gle/o5iDEyZtcHVPXXsP8

March 6th, All Summit Students are to participate. There are no formal classes on this day.

One of our school pillars is Well-Being. This means we intentionally build opportunities for students to pay attention to their health. Twice a month, we have students attending our Wellness Sessions before class. The sessions are all based on life skills topics. See here for more information. The Wellness Summit is the culminating event for our yearly well-being initiatives.

The Wellness Summit 2024 topics are derived from student discussions and requests. From there, we contact individuals from RVS Stepping Stones to Mental Health, RVS Student Supports, Headstrong Canada, and some community groups dedicated to high school student support. There are over 20 different topics students can choose, and this year, there are 18 different speakers. It takes us all year to plan for this event.

Speakers Attending: Ahmed Knowmadic Ali - Spoken Word and Motivational Speaker, Bob Wilkie NHL Motivational Speaker, Rae Magde, U of A First Nations Two-Spirited lived experience speaker, Rilee ManyBears Gold Metal Worlds Olympian lived experience speaker, and Stepping Stones To Mental Health Sessions! You don't want to miss this!

Register early because this year, students from throughout RVS High Schools may be invited by their schools to attend. There is a space limit, so sign up today.

Lastly, parents, this event does come at a monetary cost. If you are willing, we would certainly appreciate your tax receipt donations. Please see the donation link. Please be sure to choose Summit Trails for the school dropdown.

Student Showcase!!

We love to share with students when Summit Trails students are performing or participating in televised athletics.

Peyton is one of our students who is working hard in a sport she loves, figure skating. This weekend she is competing with Skate Canada.

"I have been skating since I was 4 years old and I started competing competitively when I was 7 years old. My goal for the future is to continue to compete competitively for many years to come and eventually join the cast and go on tour with Disney on Ice."

Show your support by watching online on:

Saturday, Feb.10th at 4:50 pm (6th Skater), or

Sunday, Feb.11th at 2:05 pm (4th Skater)

Peyton, as a Summit Trails student, we support you and wish you all the best! We have many athletes in our midst; if you are interested in being showcased or having a live event where you are web-streamed, let us know!
