Grade 12 Graduation - Ceremony and More!
Hard to believe we're already talking about graduation! In the next month, you will receive updated information on the ceremony venue. For now, please check our webpage, where we will post updates as dates and details are confirmed. We’re committed to making the ceremony special for families.
This year, we are fortunate to have two community parents with experience in organizing grad banquets. While Rocky View Schools (RVS) does not plan these events, I’d like to connect you with these organizers who are eager to include Summit Trails in their planning. Below is a message from them to help get things started.
As a reminder, Summit Trails is responsible for the graduation ceremony itself, but we do not organize other events related to graduation.
Looking forward to a fantastic year ahead! Students, we will hold a graduation meeting in a couple of months. In the meantime, stay focused on completing your courses and reaching the finish line!

Good morning Summit Trails Grade 12 students and families,
We are Kelli Ellingson and Katie Heaven, and we’re thrilled to invite Summit Trails students to join George McDougall High School for a special banquet celebration on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at the Calgary Westin Airport. After organizing banquets for several schools over the past three years, we’re excited to extend this opportunity to your graduating class as well.
To help us plan, please fill out the attached Google form to indicate your interest. Once we have a sense of numbers, we’ll arrange a Zoom meeting to answer any questions you may have and to share a slideshow of our previous events. We would also love to include you in any fundraising activities the school organizes to support this event. Please fill out this form in the next couple of days.
Our goal is to create an unforgettable evening for all families to celebrate this significant milestone, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.
